NEAT11: Zoo Indigo Seeking Performers

Zoo Indigo are looking for people to take part in Opening Hours, a new work commissioned by Hatch as part of NEAT11.

Please have a look at their call out for performers (below) and do get in touch if this sounds like the sort of thing you might be interested in.

Opening hours: Circle symphony

Rehearsal: May 21st or 22nd.
Performance dates: May 29th 6-8pm, June 12th afternoon – time TBC.

Zoo Indigo performance company have been commissioned by Hatch to create a site specific piece on Wellington Circus in the private garden by Nottingham Playhouse. This work will be performed as part of NEAT (Nottingham European Arts and Theatre) festival. See and

We are looking for volunteer performers and assistants to take part in the core component of the work in a slow motion Maypole dance. There are many layers to the work and the way in which audience view it (please ask for further information).

This is an exciting opportunity to take part in a contemporary performance work with a local company and to be part of a large international theatre festival.

Performers MUST be able to make the dates above. You do NOT have to have prior dance or performance experience, just an interest in the work. You will be taught a simple routine by an instructor on the rehearsal date.

All ages, genders, and abilities considered. We would like to hear from you as soon as possible – our deadline will be May 9th.
